Her calm and friendly manner was just what we needed. My four year old had a horrible experience last year and was terrified of the the dentist. But she was surprisingly comfortable and talkative with the staff and the Dentist. What a relief! The office was old and not very inviting, So at first i was super disappointed. But the smiles and warm nature of the entire staff made up for it. We'll definitely be back!

Orleanys Del Carmen is wonderful! I took my dad in and recommended her to my sister and my aunt. She may look young but she is a professional, I would highly recommend her.

Early on, I realized that my passion for service and health related fields were two paths I was destined to take. As a dental professional for the past 10 years, I consider dentistry to be a career that has allowed me to nurture and bring together both of these passions.
After completing my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Loyola University in Chicago, I wanted to return to my roots and moved to the Dominican Republic, where I studied dentistry at Universidad Iberoamericana, graduating with honors as Doctor in Dental Surgery. Upon my return to the United States, I worked as a Surgical Dental Assistant while preparing to enter the international Dentistry Program at the University of Illinois, Chicago, where I obtained my DDS.
I am a firm believer in life-long learning. I know that in order to stay ahead in this- or any professional field - one must continue studying, learning and growing; that is why I am committed to, and actively participate in, ongoing continuing education; both locally and abroad.
Currently, I maintain memberships with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), and the Chicago Dental Society (CDS).
While dentistry and service are my passions, I also love to sing! I participate in solo and choral performances whenever possible and my musical genres are classical and lyric opera for which I currently receive formal training. While I love to sing, I usually refrain from doing so in my dental office- unless I receive a "personal" request!

As always it was a great experience. Dr. Del Carmen always goes above and beyond, what I enjoy most is that she takes the time to educate me on how and why dental hygiene is so important. She also takes the time to educate me on the origin of any dental issue I may be experiencing. Dr. Del Carmen completely understands how I want my teeth to look. She has helped me create dental hygiene goals so that I can reach my goal. Soon I will have the perfect white smile that I feel is vital for anyone's image & self esteem.

Amazing! Dr. Del Carmen is the best teeth cleaner around and I really appreciate her she takes the time to clean your teeth thoroughly, rather than just going through the motions like I have experience at other dentists.
