Dr. Paola Leone was born and raised in Bari, Italy, and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Bari, School of Dentistry, graduating at the top of her class as valedictorian. She obtained her Master’s of Science in Dentistry, at Saint Louis University, Center for Advanced Dental Education, specializing in Orthodontics. Dr. Leone is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, Department of Orthodontics. Dr. Leone has published several articles relating to orthodontic treatment, most recently in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics. She has also co-authored a chapter (Mineralized Tissues in Oral and Craniofacial Science: Biological Principals and Clinical Correlates, First Edition) entitled “Clinical Correlate: Biomechanics of Teeth in Bone”. In her spare time, Dr. Leone enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and circus arts. Dr. Leone is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Washington State Society of Orthodontists, the Washington and King County Dental Associations and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. She is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics.

I had a good visit. I was seated right away. My assistant was very friendly and helpful with my questions. Dr. Leone is so nice, funny and caring. I know she is the best orthodontist around. She listens to my concerns and makes me very comfortable on each visit. I love Leone & Vaughn Orthodontics.

I had an amazing experience at Leone & Vaughn. Everyone is so pleasant & informative. I love my new beautiful smile. I was confident that my care was under excellent care with very talented Drs. When I walk through the door I am greeted with many smiles back. It feels like home & the staff & Drs care about my treatment & what happens in my daily life. Love & highly recomend for all ages.
