I found Open and Affordable Dental on the ZocDoc app. Found that this practice had great ratings and was in my network. I Set an appointment easily and was seen by the Dentist that Zoc Doc had specified. She and her staff were wonderful. The office is clean and has a nice appeal. I couldn't find anyone to watch my very curious, chatty 5 year old so she came along. The staff were very nice and patient with her and even offered her to help do certain things which was very sweet, an experience she will likely remember. Also a treasure box at the end. ?? The appointment didn't take long with a cleaning and a care plan and I'm returning for more of my dental needs. Please also know I have major anxiety with Dental procedures but didn't feel as tense as usual. Overall I'm pleased and will be coming back. Thank you to the kind staff for making this appointment a breeze and for helping entertain my little one so sweetly. I look forward to returning.

Great first time experience. I scheduled a visit for the following day through Zocdoc. It was for a tooth emergency requiring a new filling. Dr. Moreno and her hygienist were patient, thoughtful and thorough. So thankful my teeth feel much better!!

This is the best dentist office I've ever been to All three dentists that work in the practice can see you and pitch in of the other one isn't available but they are very comfortable with you being giving beginning and ending your services with the same doctor for continuity without like judgment or hard feelings they always have availability and are very flexible and are not judgmental if you're running late
I would highly recommend to anyone

I wanted to really like this dentist but not so sure. There was some communication issues with an estimate and then I had some issues with a filling done. They did try to remedy that but issue persisted. I went to get a second opinion and that doctor fixed the issue. Seems like I might be the fluke but I don’t know.

Both doctors at this office are super flexible with how they care for patients. I was able to be worked on the same day I found out about my cavities. My time, money, and comfort were all shown to be of the highest priority for both dentists.

The doctor I met with was absolutely amazing. It was a guy, however, and the gal in the picture I never saw. However, there was some issue with my insurance and the front desk. Gal had lied to me so much so that the dentist ended up having to take matters into his own hands. He decided not to charge me for certain things and told me basically not to worry about the rest and tell my insurance is verified, which is very kind, but I was still lied to multiple times on the phone and when I arrived in clinic by the front desk ?

I would highly recommend Open and Affordable Dental. I went for an appointment for myself a few months ago and was blown away with how quickly I was able to secure an appointment, their customer service from the dental assistants to the dentist herself. They are quick and will have you in and out in records time! I was so satisfied that I switched my son’s dentist to Open and Affordable Dental and today his appointment was even more so satisfying than my appointment. Keep up the amazing work ladies!

The staff that greeted me didn’t put plastic over the xray machine so I fear I shared a mouth piece with prior people….i told her every office has that mouth piece protected by plastic and she said “no” and didn’t even rinse the piece I used after, just put it back with the rest… so probably stuck it in someone else’s mouth after…that was so gross. the girl who took my X-rays also gave me kiddy glasses that didn’t even fit on my face when the adult pair was sitting right next to them. The actual dr I saw was great but wow the staff before she shows up need serious retraining

Dr Moreno’s staff was helpful and friendly. I had a hard time finding my insurance info and a friendly staff member found/verified it. Medical assistant was professional, friendly & empathetic, great bedside manner, he’s wonderful and has a great personality!Dr Moreno is one of the best dentists I have ever met! I have lack of enamel-I have a difficult time with dentists recognizing the problem. She is extremely knowledgeable, she made me feel comfortable.I received various shots and I didn’t realize she administered them until my mouth numbed. I felt minimal discomfort. I went in due to pain in gums. Dr educated me on better oral care and enamel disorder. She filled 2 cavities, did initial consultation, x rays, fluoride treatment & cleaning all in 2 hours. She offers evening/weekend hours which is convenient. Una cosa que me encantó y me hizo sentir más cómoda es que la dra y los empleados hablan español. There were some issues with insurance, I was told at first my insurance wasn’t working/ they couldn’t find it & I waited an hour while getting it figured out. Then, right before starting my cleaning was told they confirmed my insurance and everything was good. The next day I got a call and was told again that they didn’t have my insurance and asked for a picture of it, I am double insured for dental so sent a picture of both although had already provided this information previously. I didn’t hear anything more until yesterday when I got a message saying I missed my appointment the previous day- I went in on 1/10 and this was 1/18 so I’m not sure what that was about.
Overall confusing experience and I booked through zoc doc because of the fact that you can find people who take your insurance.
The people in the office were very nice & the cleaning was good.

Once they verified my insurance, which took a very long time, the rest of the visit was great. The staff was great and Dr Moreno was great. I have already made appointments for follow up visits.

My experience was excellent. I got a next-day appointment, and was scheduled for follow ups and necessary surgery. I really appreciate Dr. Moreno-cabrera's availability, explanations, and professionalism. I've had a lot of issues where it took weeks or months to see a doctor followed by and extremely vague next steps and follow up appointments months later. It's a breath of fresh air to have a doctor see me, take my issues seriously, and immediately address the problems I'm facing in the moment and schedule necessary future appointments just days later.

The whole experience was on point. There were some issues with the system of my insurance being down, but the staff at the office did their best to get the info (this was my first visit). Since the system was still down by the time I arrived, I was just inspected to know what care I needed, and then an appointment the following week was scheduled so that the insurance information would be available and an accurate rundown of the costs could be obtained.
Dr. Moreno-Cabrera was very proficient, explaining everything that she was seeing in the X-rays and what should be done about it. They were very patient with my insurance situation.

The office is new and clean. They have a high end x ray machine that is much more comfortable than the typical ones that make you bite on something that that place in your cheek. The staff is friendly. Dr. Moreno-Cabrera is professional, knowledgeable, kind and patient with her staff and did a great job assessing my situation and helping me prioritize my needs based on what my insurance would cover. My procedure was quick and painless! Overall I had a wonderful experience and am happy to have finally found a dentist that I will be staying with.
