This is the best dentist I have ever been to! I came in, was seen right away, everyone was lovely. Prices were very reasonable, and Dr. Paul Guerrino is the nicest guy and knows what he is doing. My procedure was painless (relatively).

This dentist office is a team of dentists not just the Dr I selected. Everyone I dealt with was professional & friendly. However there are several issues you might encounter when booking through this website. Don't bother filling out the extra online forms intended to save you time because they weren't received at the dentist's office & I had to re-do them anyway. Actually I had to re-do them twice since the receptionist had me enter the info into an iPad which apparently isn't linked properly to their computer network. I'm hopeful this will all be resolved for future patients.
Also there are multiple locations for this dentist so be careful. After booking my appt online I received a confirmation call from their office and it's a good thing I asked to confirm the address because my appt was in an entirely different city.
None of these issues take away from the dentistry care provided but they can be frustrating.

Dr. Paul Guerrino learned early in life about hard work and dedication. As a young man growing up in Yonkers, Dr. Paul Guerrino worked in the family business, which was an ice cream store located a few miles away in Mount Vernon. It was there that Dr. Paul Guerrino learned the fundamental basics of running a business and the concept of service. His father, Joseph, and uncle, Rudy Guerrino, were role models in teaching that a strong work ethic, discipline and attention to the needs of the customer were essential elements in operating a successful business.
Dr. Paul Guerrino put those lessons to good use in dental school at New York University and during graduate work in periodontal surgery and dental implants at Boston University. Naturally, his first office was established in Mount Vernon, NY, on the site of the original family business.
Paul Guerrino has used these same principles of service, dedication to people and a strong work ethic to expand the original office in Mount Vernon to include locations in Scarsdale, and Hartsdale New York. To complete the circle, Paul Guerrino's wife, Dr Afshan Ahmed, D.D.S. (New York University '03) is a partner at the Hartsdale office and Dr. Guerrino's sister, Dr. Lora Guerrino, D.M.D. (University of South Carolina '90) is an associate dentist in the Mt. Vernon office.

I wouldn’t suggest this place at alll!!! Horrible service. They only care about the money!! On my second visit the guy manager told me my insurance a small amount and I would have to pay the rest . Not knowing I recieved the invoice from my insurance , I told him it is not the correct amount due because the insurance company paid more than what u are saying.. his response was “ no. I wouldn’t not lie I have the amount they paid right on my screen” thank god I had my email with the invoice from the company and showed it to him .. he quickly said o let me adjust that .. and also one of the receptions was so nasty and rude !!! They keep calling and sending emails to come in for specials... EVEN IF THEY WAS GIVING AWAY A MILLION DOLLARS OR A FREE SERVICE I WOULD NEVVVERRRRRR GO BACK !!!

Terrible service if you’re using your jobs union insurance. I was told I had a small cavity and I needed a deep cleaning and my insurance wouldn’t cover it. I asked if my teeth would be cleaned and the cavity filled. I was told, no there wa no point because the cleaning would do nothing for my teeth. I went to another dentist, who cleaned my teeth, filled the filling, changed old fillings and my insurance approved the deep cleaning.

I had severe pain in my molars and was told it could be this or it could be that but if it’s a root canal it couldn’t be fixed the same day because they didn’t have a special dentist there, etc.. and after leaving the office and being told I have no balance I just received a bill. Not a fan of this dentistry, as they didn’t do the one thing that should have - find a solution for my problem. Long story short, I got a root canal the same day with a different dentist.
