Dr. Paul Silberman was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Prince George’s County Maryland. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1972, and in 1977 he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Immediately after graduating, he ran a clinic for a year with Vermont Dental Care, a program dedicated to the dental treatment of children from low income families. In 1978, he moved back to Maryland and began practicing as an associate in Southern MD with Dr. Louis Carusillo, who currently works with Dr. Silberman as an associate. Dr. Silberman also worked as an instructor in the Department of Oral Diagnosis at the University of MD School of Dentistry. The Silberman Dental Group is set apart by the way in which our doctors and team members relate to each patient. We care, we are gentle, we listen to the needs of each individual, and we maintain an atmosphere that is warm and inviting. Our years of experience make for an unsurpassed level of professionalism, and we also take pride in being able to alleviate anxiety for patients who may not traditionally be comfortable in dental environments. Additionally, the impeccable ethical practices of our office are self-evident to our patients. In addition to his dental practice, Dr. Silberman is an avid cyclist and tennis player, and he is active in both his faith and regional communities. He has two children, Joel and Lauren, ages 29 and 21, about whom he can’t stop talking. His wife of 37 years, Barbara, whom he enjoys talking about, is the Office Administrator of The Silberman Dental Group.
