Dr. Chhabra was born in India and grew up in Bombay. He moved to the US in 1986 at age 13. Dr. Chhabra attended college at California State University, Northridge where he earned a B.S. in Cell Biology and an M.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology. He made lots of friends in LA, often while enjoying many outdoor activities; hiking and camping in Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks, cross country skiing in Yosemite, downhill skiing, and bungee jumping. He also earned his pilots license and flew for fun.
He moved to New York in 1999 for Dental School and attended NYU College of Dentistry, where he earned his DDS degree. He also completed his 1-year residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. Prior to opening his own office in 2008, he worked as an associate in various practices throughout the boroughs.

He overcharged me! He said my insurance doesn’t cover white filling and charged me for each filling. Today with the same insurance plan, my new dentist filled my tooth with white filling with no charge.

Dentist is super rough when treating your mouth. I was looking forward to a good cleaning but ended up with a 90 second “cleaning”.
Overall, it’s a place that’s more about your money then your health.

Dr. Chhabra was amazing. I was able to get an appointment the same day. He took the time to go into detail with me and explain thoroughly what was entailed with the procedure I needed and the chances of its success as well as risks. He was very genuine and so polite. I was having a bad
panic attack shaking and crying, as a I get bad anxiety. He was so patient and used his kind personality to help reassure and calm me down and I felt completely comfortable. His staff was equally as awesome as he was. Extremely kind and understanding. I would highly recommend him of you are looking for a good honest Dr. That its genuine honest and cares about his patients. I am absolutely going to continue as a patient here.

Very thorough and respectable guy, knows a lot about insurance coverages if you have Fidelis. I'm not crazy about being quoted 25 times the worth for an oral rinse under a buck (if you have a prescription) at a Target or Walgreen's pharmacy.

Dr. Chhabre and his office is nothing short of fantastic. You never have to wait. His staff is very pleasant and the office is extremely organized. Dr. Chhabre is a quite man but very pleasant. He always answers any questions you have with great interest and he goes out of his way to make your experience seamless. He is such a master technician that before you know it your finished. The only problem I have is that he is so punctual I can never finish the magazine article in the waiting room,lol. This guy is a diamond in the rough who has no pretenses and his only interests is making sure your visit was as pleasant as one could have going to a dentist

Dr. Chhabra and his practice is nothing short of wonderful. Everyone was super nice and Dr Chhabra is a great dentist-he completed three amalgams and a resin in such a short and painless way. You can watch whatever you want on TV during the procedure
and his assistants always were professional and personal with always a smile. Thank YOU DR. CHHABRA!!!

Everyone in the faculty is super sweet and great with people. Doc makes you feel comfortable and he is very good at what he does (I mean, you don't feel a thing). The waiting room is always clean but a but chilly when cold out. My overall experience here is great. My whole family comes here, they are actually who referred me to Dr. Chhabra
