Peggy Alvarez-Penabad began her dental journey in 1989 when she attended the University of Zulia, in Maracaibo, Venezuela. In 1995 she graduated with the title of Doctor in Dental Surgery, and subsequently moved to Miami,Florida.
She completed a two years residence program in advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD), on Dade County Dental Research clinic, Community Smiles, where she earn the tittle of Chief resident. She belongs to the American dental Association (ADA), the International Team of Implantology (ITI) study club and to the Dental society club as well.
Following her belief in giving back to the community, Dr. Alvarez-Penabad regularly volunteers at Community Smiles on Implant advanced clinic and TMJ disorders session, and she is an active member to the Monsignor Felipe Bello Foundation, Donating Smiles.
