Philip and his dental assistant Nicolette made my experience at the Dental Salon very pleasant. Philip spoke to me briefly about my concerns and tried to get to know me as a patient. Often times, doctors don't take the time to make small talk with their patients. Nicollette made my taking my xrays a brief and painless process. I will back in 6 months to get my check up! I even feel motivated to floss!

Over the past 17 years I have learned to be proficient in providing gental dental practices in all aspects of family dentistry. I specialize in creating beautiful smiles with cutting-edge cosmetic dentistry. I understand that looking for a Chicago dentist you want a dentist who will listen to precisely what you would like to accomplish with your cosmetic dental procedure while still maintaining the function and health of your dentition.
I am Invisalign certified and dental laser certified. I have completed many hours of training / and mini-residencies in implant restorations as well. I will obtain a fellowship award in the spring of 2014 from the Academy of General Dentistry. I enjoy learning the most modern dental procedures by completing over 700 hours of continuing dental education. I am a graduate of the prestigious post-graduate dental learning institutions the Kois Institute and The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Learning.
In 1992, I graduated from Oklahoma State University while attaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology. I stayed in the area and went on to receive my Doctor of Dental Surgery with honors from Oklahoma University College of Dentistry in 1996. After graduating from dental school, I moved to sunny Arizona where I practiced as an associate before deciding to open my own unique green dental practice in 2003.
After opening, Aesthetic Dental Health in Avondale, I watched it grow and turn into a one-of-a-kind eco-friendly dental practice.
In 2011, I received the Gold Certification from the Eco-Dentistry Association. Only a handful of all dentists in the U.S. have received this special distinction.
I enjoy spending most of free time with my incredible son. I am also an avid biker, novice at yoga, and fall in love with this great city.

I have always dreaded going to the dentist but Dr. Moorad and his wonderful staff have made my first visit so enjoyable that I actually do not mind coming back here for my next visit. Dr Moorad is very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. He takes his time answering all of my questions and that is very unusual these days when doctors rarely spends more than 10 min with you. The office is beautiful and the front desk staff is so courteous and efficient. I highly recommend Dr Moorad and his staff. Keep up the great job!

I thought Dr. Moorad and his assistant were fantastic, which the reviews were right! They really helped me feel comfortable when in the past I've had terrible dentist experiences. I couldn't believe how fast and painless the cleaning was. There was a slight wait time since I'm a new patirent but I'm definitely coming back.
