Dr.Cai recognizes every patient’s needs are unique and that visiting the dentist is full of anxiety. He caters his treatment accordingly, because dental care should be personalized and more importantly, enjoyable.
In 2018, Dr.Cai was named in the Guide to America’s Top Dentists by Consumers’ Research Council of America for cosmetic and implant dentistry. He pushes to be on the vanguard of dentistry by staying abreast of the newest techniques and technology in the field.
Dr.Cai is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
As a native of Northern Virginia who graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, VA, he is excited to return home to be near friends and family after 8 years away from the area; he hopes to give back to the community that provided him with so much over the years.
He currently resides in Arlington, VA and in his spare time, he enjoys traveling, photography, golfing, and supporting his hometown sports teams. Go Skins!

Dr. Cai is the best dentist ever! He educates you on everything he does, he’s gentle, kind and thorough. Most people are scared to go to the dentist, and I was one of them.. BUT NO LONGER. In the past I always hear my dentist call out random numbers and never had a clue what they were talking about, on my first exam Dr. Cai explained everything!!!! . Today I had multiple fillings done and one thing I must say I have never had a dentist use the technique he used to numb my mouth, because we all know it can be painful and traumatizing— well I could hardly feel it.
He is also very considerate of how costly dental work can be even if you have insurance and never wants to overwhelm you. Not many doctors are thoughtful and considerate of their patients.
His office manager and assistant are also fantastic! I’m a forever patient. Thank you Dr. Cai

A wonderful dental practice! Dr. Cai is extremely attentive, pays close attention to detail, and has a wonderful bedside manner. I went for multiple crowns and was walked to through the process and ended up with a fabulous result! Nanu at reception is also easy to reach and super helpful with coordinating insurance, as well as being friendly all around. Assistant Kenia was also lovely and worked really well as a team with Dr. Cai. I recommend this practice to all my friends!

This was my first visit with Dr. Cai. I am usually nervous going to a new dentist. I was relieved as soon as I walked into the office. It was bright and I was greeted by the secretary. Dr. Cai was VERY personable and explained everything he was doing and if it was good or bad. Also ways to improve my overall dental hygiene. I will definitely be going back for my annual cleanings, and anything in between.
