Dr. Kaushik is passionate about patient dental education. “My parents sacrificed a lot for my brother and sister and me, to give us a better life,” he said. “They placed a strong emphasis on education; on being lifetime learners. Dental technology and knowledge continues to advance and it’s my job to constantly pursue further education and stay on top of advancements then to pass that knowledge along to my patients and team. I think the one thing I hear most from my patients is, ‘Wow, nobody even explained it to me that way’.”
Dr. Kaushik utilizes the latest digital simulators to give his patients an understanding of their treatment options and his recommendations. “With a unique, customized presentation, using digital photos and data, I can show them what their end result will look like,” he said. “I don’t want them to take my word for it, but to understand why they need a certain treatment, what the journey will be like and what end result they can expect. If they can see that end result ahead of time, then the time, expense and effort will all be worthwhile for them. My goal is to provide the best possible dental experience while empowering my patients with the knowledge they deserve in making quality decisions relating to their dental needs. The end result is to create a positive journey towards optimum oral and overall health.”
Dr. Kaushik believes in getting to know his patients, interacting with them individually. “I want a visit to my office to be a calm, relaxing experience, never something my patients should dread,” he said. “The days of being afraid to go to the dentist are behind us.
