Dr. Kansai did great work in terms of the service I needed done. She calmly explained the procedure, and accommodated the fact that I suffer from high anxiety in the dentist chair. I've had the same dentist for 34 years, and so to see a new dentist (which was my experience with Dr. Kansai) was daunting. She made me feel confident that I made the correct choice.

Dr. Preeti Kansal graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Dentistry as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). During her time at VCU, she served as a patient advocate and Vice President of her dental class. She has done extensive clinical research at the National Institutes of Health in the Dental and Craniofacial department. After graduating dental school she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Temple Kornberg School Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA with a concentration in cosmetic dentistry including implant restorations and Invisalign. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
Dr. Kansal prides herself on quality comprehensive care and always takes the patient’s needs and wants as priority when developing a personalized treatment plan. She continues to advance her knowledge of the dental field through various continuing education programs and by staying up to date with today’s research in order to provide her patients with the best of care. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

It was still a trip to the dentist, but she went out of her way to make it painless and make me as comfortable as possible. She is efficient (much appreciated) and didn't try to make conversation while my mouth was full of cleaning gadgets (so much appreciated).

The staff was super friendly and helped find out what out of pocket cost my next treatment would be before I scheduled the appointment. Not to mention that the Dr. broke it to me gently about my very first cavity and explained the diagnosis and treatment in terms I could understand. They are prompt, efficient and genuinely kind.
