The receptionist was more than friendly and very helpful with figuring out some insurance issues. Dr. Raisa was kind and thorough in everything; she caught a an issue that other dentists didn't notice and I am very grateful for that. I will definitely be coming back in 6 months for my follow up!

I went in for a check-up after several years of neglecting my dental health so I was VERY nervous but Dr. Shekhtmeyster and her entire staff made me comfortable and relaxed and were extremely professional, friendly, thorough and efficient and I feel also trustworthy.

I was not happy with this doctor's care at all. Her manner was brusque and quite rude, and she was dismissive of the concerns I brought with me to the appointment. Immediately after I saw her, I was simply content to never go back. However, I received a couple of cavity fillings from her one year ago. My new dentist discovered that there is a sizeable cavity underneath the filling, and the filling itself is neither cracked nor worn. I do not recommend seeing this doctor.

Dr. Shekhtmeyster was warm and helpful. She did the cleaning herself, answered any questions I had, and was conscious of any discomfort I was having. Plus, I only had to wait about 5 minutes before being shown into the room. I would recommend her to anyone after this first visit!

I've never had the dentist do the cleaning herself; that was cool. There was bad news on my visit (I have to get a root canal), but she was so understanding and explained the future procedure to me. I'm happy to have found such a competent and caring professional.

I am embarrassingly terrified of the dentist. As in, can't sleep the night before, nauseous in the waiting room type of terrified. I went to Raisa Shekhtmeyster after reading the reviews on here and they are all true. She is kind, sensitive to anxiety ridden people like me, and explains everything she is going to do. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I was very nervous about this appointment since I hadn't been to the dentist in forever. But the doctor was soothing and nice. I was a little worried how things would go when the assistant was doing the x Rays but once the dentist was there it was fine.
