To introduce myself, I would like to give you a short professional biography. In May 1977, I graduated from Graceland College, Lamoni, Iowa with a degree in Biology and Chemistry.
After I graduated, I worked for General Motors at the Leeds Plant in Kansas City, Missouri as an assembly line worker until I could find a position in Biology or Chemistry. This search didn't take long.
In November of that year I went to work as a research chemist for Midwest Research Institute in Kansas City, Missouri. In August of 1980, I quit this position to enroll at the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) Dental School and four years later, by the grace of God and a loving supportive wife, I graduated. I have been practicing family dentistry since June of 1984 and truly enjoy the art of making beautiful smiles.
