Dr. Wise, a Denver native, has practiced dentistry in the south western metro area since 1975. A graduate of Dartmouth College in 1971, he received his dental training and degree from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago. After graduation, he returned to the Denver area to practice. In 1993, he completed a two year program in advanced full mouth rehabilitation and restoration at the F.A.C.E program in San Francisco. He often attends continuing education seminars and is a life member of the Colorado Prosthodontics society and the Rocky Mountain Dental Study Club. He regularly donates his services to kids in need of dentistry and the Lifeline Network, serving disabled adults. In 2007, he received a community service award from the Metro Denver Dental Society for outstanding service to patients with special needs.
A Father of an adult daughter and son, Dr. Wise and his wife, Clare, live in the SW Foothills and enjoy many outdoor activities including skiing, golf and mountain biking. Their infant granddaughter is also a constant joy in their lives.

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a medical professional. His bedside manner was terrible, he was arrogant and condescending. He even raised his voice at me, I was shocked. The dental technician was the only positive aspect of this experience, but the doctor was demeaning to her as well. I can’t believe someone like this has stayed in business. Avoid at all costs!

Extraordinary to have so much of a dentist's time and interaction during an appt, though it was my first visit and some extra discussion was in order. All of my concerns were addressed, and I discovered some new ones:). Not too many tech upgrades evident in office equipment, but the 1-on-1 attention from a competent and personable doc matters a lot.
I chose this dentist based on location and reviews from this site, and I have to say, what I read was quite accurate.

Dr. Wise is an awesome dentist with a unique "old school" approach. The equipment in the office wasn't super high tech, but you don't really need that. What I found amazing is that Dr Wise did the ENTIRE appointment himself- teeth cleaning and all. He's about 60 with thoughts of retiring, and loves skiing, golf, and biking; all are hobbies that I'm into as well which made for fun discussion and a great experience.
