Just had my first visit - had my xrays and pictures taken. Very friendly and explained everything well. Reception was very friendly as was the whole staff. Office was nice and I felt comfortable with everything. Highly recommend.

More about Ranjini Pillai, MPH
Dr. Ranjini has dedicated her entire education to dentistry. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery in 1989 from Medical College of Trivandrum in India. In 1994, she migrated to the US to set up her home and further her career in dentistry. She attended New York University College of Dentistry for her postgraduate education and graduated in 1997.
Since dental school provides limited clinical experience, Dr. Ranjini competed for and earned a position in advanced training at Jamaica Hospital Medical Centre in New York. Approximately 20% of dentists complete a hospital residency, which puts Dr. Ranjini Pillai in the company of outstanding dentists.
At the end of her residency program, Dr. Ranjini was awarded the Biotene Award for Excellence in Hospital Dentistry. She was also awarded a position as an Attending in the Department of Dentistry at the hospital where she gave clinical care to patients.
In 2004, Dr. Ranjini and her family visited North Carolina. It was love at first sight and after a few more trips she and her family decided to call North Carolina home and raise her children here. After 6 years of practice in New York and almost 3 years in Greenville, North Carolina, Dr. Ranjini bought the practice of Dr. Frank Ramos (in the present location since 1983) and started practicing family general dentistry in Durham in January 2007.
