The service was great and the staff was extremely competent. Dr. Maltalvo is one of the most capable dentist that I have ever met. He is humble, kind and very attentive to his patients needs. I would recommend him to anyone. He is awesome.

Dr Montalvo and his staff are courteous, caring and kind. He is a perfectionist and won't allow for anything but stellar treatment for you and your family. All 3 of my children see him and before my oldest was petrified of the dentist. Now, he had no issues going at all....a testament of the caring and nurturing bedside manner of Dr Montalvo. I have referred many, many friends to him and wouldn't hesitate to do so again! If you're looking for complete oral care from a genuine and compassionate doctor, look no further!

This was my first visit to Family Dentistry at SouthWood and only have good things to say. Dr. Montalvo is an excellent dentist and the staff is top class. I was greeted kindly and professionally and every portion of my appointment was thoroughly explained.
I'm one that typically dreads going to the dentist for anything. The staff made me comfortable throughout my appointment.

Dr. Montalvo is the best---gentle, kind, professional and humorous and this is coming from a person who has had great trepidation about all dentists after experiencing a childhood dental trauma.
He is a perfectionist as I am, and his work is beautiful. And guess what? He has "almost" removed my fear of dentists.
I highly recommend Dr. Montalvo.

Dr. Ray was very polite and honest. We talked about how I can reach my dental goals. My hygienist was very nice and knowledgeable. She did an amazing deep cleaning. It was painful but we got through it. I would recommend Hailey for anyone that is a new patient. The office is super clean and Dr. Ray's staff is nice.

Dr. Ray has excellent people skills, and great chair side manner, he really CARES. He goes out of his way to make sure that you are not feeling any pain and that work is done to your your satisfaction. I have never had a Dentist do such a great job on a crown as he did. He even took an x-ray before he set the crown in place to make sure of the fit and the margins. I did not have insurance and the prices are fair for the quality and professional care I receive. His Dental Hygienist Victoria S. is outstanding and is just as thorough and professional as he is, they are a real caring team. The office and equipment are very modern not like a lot of other offices in the Tallahassee area. It is a real joy to go to the office to get my teeth worked on. Thank you for you great service, your caring nature and your true proffesionalism.
