Dr. Chang migrated from Jamaica to Miami, Florida, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Florida International University. Dr. Chang graduated top of his class with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Howard University and then completed a General Practice Residency at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Chang received his specialty certification in orthodontics after two years of intensive training at the University of Colorado Denver School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Chang is committed to staying on the cutting-edge of the latest advancements in the field of orthodontics and has completed advanced certification in Invisalign, training in iBraces (Incognito braces), Damon System self-ligating orthodontic appliances, and temporary anchorage devices (miniscrews).
Dr. Chang understands that orthodontics is a changing field, with new research and techniques being developed all the time. To provide the best and most innovative care available, he attends continuing education courses every year throughout the country.
Dr. Chang feels it is important to treat each case individually and spends time with each patient at every visit. He also believes in educating his patients and communicating all of the aspects involved with their orthodontic treatment. This ensures excellent clinical care and often a shorter treatment time for his patients.

Dr. Chang's office is perfect! The ambiance is amazing and the staff is very professional, yet friendly. I hate oral consultations, but they do it seamlessly well. No judgement whatsoever, and they are definitely there to get your smile perfected...pun intended.
I've been seeing Dr. Chang for about 6 months now. I didn't start off with the greatest of teeth, and I also had an underbite. My underbite was fixed within 8 to 10 weeks, and my smiled was aligned perfectly. I still have about 10 to 12 more months to go, but his knowledge and skill for orthodontics is impeccable.
