Dr. Richard Grubb, along with his staff, provide comprehensive dental services to patients of all ages in Havre de Grace, Maryland and surrounding areas. Dr. Grubb goes out of his way to make sure every patient feels welcomed and relaxed during their appointment.
Unlike other dentists, our dental practice provides a more personable, friendly, welcoming and relaxing environment and experience that will make your visit to the dentist something to look forward to, rather than something to put off. Dr. Grubb not only has more than 35 years of experience as a practicing dentist, but has also acquired more than 1,500 hours of extensive on-going training and education in the most up-to-date dental techniques available.
Dr. Grubb graduated in the top of his class from the University of Maryland's Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1975. His interest in dental Implantology led him to pursue a year-long course of study in dental implants at Howard University. After completing a residency at Sinai Hospital, where he received advanced training in surgery and anesthesia, he returned to his hometown of Havre de Grace and has been a practicing dentistry for 35 years.
Dr. Grubb provides several options for those who are apprehensive about their dental treatment. For those patients who are mildly fearful, an anti-anxiety tablet or laughing gas (Nitrous Oxide) may be adequate. For extremely fearful patients “twilight sleep” utilizing intravenous sedation may be appropriate, which provides maximum relaxation and little or no memory of the experience. Dr. Grubb has had advanced hospital training in sedation dentistry and is licensed by the State of Maryland to provide his patients with safe, comfortable sedation to make their dental visit as pleasant as possible.
