Dr. Rick is a Vietnam war veteran who worked in sailboat hardware sales prior to completing his undergraduate and dental education. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry Class of 1980. With a strong interest in the medically compromised he completed a general practice dental residency at Sinai Hospital of Detroit. He has directed graduate training programs in hospital dentistry at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital, the University of Chicago Zoller Dental Clinic, the University of Detroit/Receiving Hospital, and Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. He joined his wife in private dental practice in 1992. He is commited to educating each patient to excellent oral health. He has a strong interest in dental reconstruction and rehabilitation and enjoys Turbyfill dentures, and Invisalign to give each patient a beautiful and functional smile. An avid waterskier Dr. Olsen enjoys many outdoor activities. He is the proud father of two adult children. Laura is a junior at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. Erik has attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville and is currently working full time in the Asheville, NC area.

All of my visits have been great. Dr. Olsen and the staff treat me professional and have a great bed side manner!

Very pleasant staff! Thoroughly explained the procedure before, during and after, all while humming a little tune in between! Definitely a comfortable atmosphere that takes away that fear of seeing the dentist. Already scheduled a follow-up and cleaning next week that I actually look forward to. Now there's something you don't hear many people say about going to the dentist!

He was very thorough and knowledgeable and explained everything he was going to do before he did it so there were no surprises. Loved that I got a printed treatment plan at the end of the visit!
