She received a B.A. from Rutgers University-Rutgers College, New Brunswick, NJ, where she majored in Biochemistry and Economics. She then pursued a degree in dental medicine and graduated with a D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania-School of Dental Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, she has a certificate in Orthodontics and an M.S. in Bone Biology from Temple University-Department of Orthodontics, Philadelphia, PA. She is a part-time Assistant Clinical Instructor at Columbia University's Orthodontic Residency program since 2012. She is also active with the Damon Study Club of Manhattan. Dr. Taliwal is an Invisalign® Elite Provider, an honor given to 5% of Invisalign providers nationwide, and gives Invisalign Study Club lectures to dental colleagues and their hygienists in New York City.

The doctor answered all the questions I had. Her assistant was nice however the women that took my dental pictures had a bit of an attitude. I liked the vibe of the people and doctors I visited in Queens more. This office kept sending me emails and text about payment options after my visit. It seems they really want your money.

The experience was great! The full staff was super friendly and helpful, and willing to work with you on payment plans and options (even as a new patient). I really appreciated their willingness to give me the full range of considerations for my treatment plan and the obvious care that's being taken to ensure that all goes well during my time as a patient.

Great experience! Dr. Taliwal is very kind and extremely knowledgeable. Made me feel immediately comfortable and recommended a treatment plan that would work best for me. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone seeking orthodontic work in New York.

Excellent Appt. Wait time was minimal, although Dr. Taliwal did have other patients in the office. She saw me within about 15 minutes, including the new patient intake and having photos of my teeth taken by her assistant. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and patient in answering all my questions. Also, I walked out within an hour and a half with a course of action determined in terms of my treatment, all xrays and scans completed and all financial aspects all worked out, including my insurance coverage. Efficiency was A++. I haven't yet been treated so will update at some point regarding my ortho, however, the appt was excellent.

This office is great! Dr. Tailwal is so nice and knowledgeable and makes everything a lot easier for me. (I am not the best patient!) The front office is friendly and very accommodating. I have never had to wait and they have been willing to move things around to better fit my schedule. I highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Taliwal is accomodating, friendly, and extremely resourceful. The visits not only meet my patient expectations often times truly exceed by her techniques, and knowledge of the field. It is pleasure to call her my orthodonist and I have completely satisfied with her work and my dental outcomes.

After I met Dr. Taliwal for the first time, I knew I had found the best orthodontist for myself. Dr. Taliwal was very attentive and sweet and made me feel very comfortable about the treatment plan she had devised for me. The staff was very friendly and there was practically no wait time. Months later my smile looks amazing and I'm very happy!

Dr. Taliwal is an excellent orthodontist! I could not imagine going through the Invisalign process with someone else. She is a true professional and a master of designing a perfect smile. I highly recommend her as one of the best in New York City.
