Dr. Hermann is a native Texan with a passion for helping patients feel confident in their smiles. He believes in patient-centered care, ensuring that every person who walks into the office feels heard, comfortable, and well-cared for. Dr. Hermann's journey into oral surgery began at the University of Texas at Austin, followed by dental school at UT Health San Antonio, where he graduated with highest honors. To provide the highest level of specialized care, he then earned his surgical residency at UT Southwestern/Parkland Hospital in Dallas-one of the top programs in the country. While he is an expert in wisdom teeth removal and dental implants, he has a special interest in complex oral rehabilitation. Nothing makes him happier than rebuilding a patient's smile and oral function to restore their "joy of life." When he isn't in scrubs, Dr. Hermann is usually looking for his next adventure. He has a heart for service, having completed dental mission trips to Nicaragua and Haiti. He is an avid traveler who has backpacked through India and Sri Lanka and even climbed to the top of Mt. Hood. Whether it's a solo cycling trip through Montana or a cross-country motorcycle ride from Oregon to New Jersey, he loves a challenge. Today, Dr. Hermann enjoys a slightly slower pace in Manhattan with his fiance, Kelly. They are currently preparing for their most exciting adventure yet-the birth of their first child! You can often find them on "urban hikes" around the city with their dog, Miss America.
