About Dr. Robert Turchin

Dr. Turchin graduated at the top of his class from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He was elected to The National Dental Honor Society, Omitron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Turchin completed course requirements in just 3 years and spent his senior year treating the more advanced cases in the dental clinic and auditing graduate level periodontal courses. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from The State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton, New York where he was a resident advisor. Dr. Turchin states that at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine: “I got more exposure and more training than the typical student coming out of Penn. Penn is already regarded as one of the top dental schools in the country, so on top of an excellent education I was able to get that much needed experience and exposure." As your dental healthcare provider, Dr. Turchin wants you to be confident knowing that he has assembled a team of highly trained and skilled professionals. To give you the best possible service and results, Dr. Turchin and his staff are fully committed to continuing education and learning. They attend classes throughout the year to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment that a modern dental office can utilize to provide state of the art dental care. Also, regularly reading dental journals and being a member of various professional dental associations helps Dr. Turchin to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for the dental profession. Dr. Turchin was selected as one of "America's Top Dentists" from 2009 to 2014. He was also awarded the Patient FYI Award of Excellence in 2010. I talk about the connection between dental health and overall health while emphasizing the importance of regular visits to maintain dental health and prevent crisis situations. Very corporate doctor. Advertisements for discounted "botox party" of 10+ people. Almost all the work is done by the dental hygienist which is totally fine, just not the dentist himself. They told me everything would be covered by my insurance and then I received a large bill because they did too many procedures. It felt clear to me that he was there for the money, but I'm sure the dental care is excellent.

I love coming here. At my kids last dentist, they never wanted you to come in the back to see what they were doing because it was overcrowded and apparently there was no room. He s excellent with children and even my 4 yr old who doesn't like anyone sat down with him without any problems. Love Love the professionalism here and everyone is friendly.

This is my first time scheduling an appointment on ZocDoc, and I have to say it was really easy. I had a dental emergency and picked the first available appointment Dr. Turchin had, which was thankfully the next day. I received two phone calls that afternoon - one from an administrative assistant to confirm my insurance, and another from Dr. Turchin himself to see if I had any questions about him or his practice. When I arrived for my appointment, I was brought back to an exam room immediately. Dr. Turchin and his assistant, Asia, were fantastic. Everything was very well explained, they were very understanding of my needs and schedule, and I feel confident that I'm in good hands going forward.

Everyone was awesome. Ease of checkin (partly because of the checkin process online); the call prior to get some info by Ciera (I think was her name); the woman (forgot her name) who physically checked me in when I got there; the assistant (clearly I'm horrible with names) who set me up and took my X-rays and didn't judge me for being away from dental checkups for so long; Dr Turchin was awesome - explained everything, went over his history and caused no pain; finally the check out process was quick and easy and I set up my next two appointments. Thanks!
