Dr. Vanaria and his team are the reason I believe in dentists once again. Generally I had a more than terrible experience with my previous visits to numerous dentists, which did a poor job and my teeth health suffered terribly from that. The good news is I found Dr. Vanaria and now he's treating all my poorly done root canals, crowns and previous fillings. Yep, he's redoing almost everything in my mouth.
I am very happy whit the progress so far!
Some reasons why I really like dr. Josh:
He is very professional, explains all procedures in advance and is extremely patient. He took a complete digital radiograph pictures of my teeth and examined them on a 24" monitor so that I could see as well what the problems were (which he explained to me in details).
After a major step they take a digital radiograph (which means less exposure and much more details) to verify that everything is ok. If not, the go and fix it.
Dr. Vanaria is very skilled and patient when working on your teeth, which I really admire him for. I can tell that he is really a perfectionist and loves what he does :)
On the regular things as customer service, payment and general atmosphere in the clinic (the one on Geary Blvd) -- everything is top-notch. You'll never feel any pain, they play your favorite music and everybody is extremely nice.
I highly recommend Dr. Roland Vanaria to any that is in doubt.

Dr. Vanaria is the only dentist I've had since moving to SF because I'm very happy with his level of care, the time he takes with each patient and his excellent, educated, friendly (and gentle) hygienists. It's a bonus he has an office within walking distance of my work and home. I was referred by a friend and have yet to have a negative experience making or having an appointment.

Dr. Vanaria and his team are the reason I believe in dentists once again. Admittedly, I had not been to the dentist for a while, so I had some anxiety about becoming established again. Dr. Vanaria came highly recommended by a friend.
Dr. Vanaria made sure I understood exactly what the procedure involved and that I was completely comfortable throughout. It was so quick & painless I couldn't believe it. He even called to check how am I feeling after one of my procedures. I was truly amazed with kindness.
I'm happy that I found this office. Dr. Vanaria & his staff are a great match for me. They are genuinely friendly and the environment is fun & upbeat. It's clear that they care. I would love to mention that Dr. Vanaria every once in the while travels to economically poor countries to help with his practice and knowledge. It is important to find a person that cares about what they do. I did!

Dr. Vanaria is a kind, patient and an accommodating dentist. He's so personable and tries to get to know me, even though I come in twice a year. The cleanings have been pleasant - depends on how well I floss and take care of my teeth in between visits, lol. He replaced an old veneer on a front tooth and it looks natural; this procedure was done fast and with perfection. Finally, his staff is so nice and friendly. It's a treat to come into a dentist's office with people knowing your name already.

I have been Dr. Vanaria's patient for more approx. 5-6 years.
I left for a year to an office that was closer to my job, but ended up returning back to Dr. Vanaria's office. I have only received great service from his and the whole staff, I recommend him to my family and friends. I hope he stays in our neighborhood for ever, so I don't have to look for a new dentist.

Amazing Going to the dentist can be this pleasant. Where do I start? How about on time appointment.... Pleasant and friendly check in, and the doctor is super friendly, made small talks that makes you feel comfortable and get settled in, cleaning was done efficiently and yes the dentist himself did the cleaning not some hygienist. X-Ray check up was thorough and Josh took his time to explain the findings, which was nice. Billing was covered by major insurance. Everything was spot on.

Dr. Vanaria is amazing. He explained the entire process to me, went the extra step to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. The assistant got sick that day, so he was assisted by the lady from the front desk. She was the kindest person ever, she was so caring and even let me hold her hand when he was giving me the anesthesia with the needle.
Overall, I think I just found a new regular dentist I'll be going back to. Would highly recommend! You'll be treated so well here. Ps. I paid out of pocket without a dental plan, and I'm still so extremely pleased. Speaks volume!

I found Dr. Vanaria by looking through dentists covered by my company's insurance, what an excellent surprise.
Dr. Vanaria was incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, kind, and I could always make an appointment (online!) when I needed, they offer early morning for busy working folks and even during lunch. The facilities are very nice, clean, and comfortable.
Dr. Vanaria went over and above on many occasions, the dental hygienists were all very kind, and the one filling I had was a complete breeze.

Great experience. Super modern, super friendly, asked me what Netflix show I liked then put it on in my private room while I waited! Came from another dental office in Waltham which is an absolute nightmare and this place was beyond pleasant. Dr. Vanaria is knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. For the first time ever, I'm actually excited to go back for a teeth cleaning. Seriously. Thrilled with the whole experience.
