It was a first time visit for me, as I just moved to the area. They were friendly, polite and patiently understood my needs and wants. They breezed through my insurance information and the new patient paperwork was cake. Two words to describe Love Family Dentistry, capable and graceful. I also love, love, love the hygienists and Dr. Loves very gentle manner of touching my face and dealing with my mouth and teeth, which are far from perfect. As with everything, dental hygiene and upkeep is a forever journey. I am so happy with my new office and am very much looking forward to next week to have them take over my treatment plan. Also, free high quality teeth goodies and great tips were given on flossing that I didn't know about and my Sister is a dental assistant. They get an A plus from me. Oh ya I'm also a past substance abuse woman in recovery, no shame in my game. So do not let guilt and shame keep you from keeping your remaining teeth, down with dentures, work with what you got. You can still have a healthy mouth. Bad news is you gotta go to the dentist on a regular basis. Nice to have a dentist/ front desk person and hygienist that are great! Bye Y'all

The visit was very nice. I was very nervous having two root canals done, but Dr. Love and his staff were amazing and made things very easy on me. I would recommend Dr. Love's practice to anybody, it was very professional.

Dr. Ryan K. Love is a Spokane area native and a graduate of Freeman High School. He attended Washington State University, graduating with a degree in Biological Sciences. He continued his education at the prestigious Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, earning his DDS degree in 2009. He currently lives in Spokane with his wife, Kayla and their daughter, Jadyn. Dr. Love enjoys spending time with his family, boating on Coeur d’ Alene lake, snow skiing, golf and most any sporting event.
After working in the area for several years, Dr. Love was chosen in 2012 to take over the practice of Dr. Steve Belknap, as Dr. Belknap retired after 30 years of practicing dentistry. He is committed to bringing a high level of care and dedication in serving the needs of existing and new patients. Dr. Love maintains the most up to date dental technologies and continues to advance his dental knowledge every year by participating in several local study clubs, as well as completing many hours of continuing education courses. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Spokane District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

I haven't been to the dentist in years and within the last couple of months had a pain only to find my wisdom tooth had a hole the size of a BB in it. I was able to schedule a same day appt for a consultation with Dr. Love's office online quickly receiving confirmation. I arrived took a few minutes to fill out a very short few forms and was taken back right away. Due to the timing and short notice I had my 5 year old with me which was entertained by office staff while the staff took x-Rays. The x-Rays were performed immediately and Dr. Love was there within minutes. The timing was perfect as my husband showed up to pick up our son at that time and Dr. Love said if I had the time to hang out a little while he could extract the tooth that day. I had been in constant pain for about a week so my husband took our son with him back to work and I stayed. The hygienist put a topical numbing agent on my gums and then the injection which did not hurt at all. Then after the injection set in Dr. Love came and extracted the tooth. When he said alright I thought that meant he had it loosened and would be taking it out. It was already out and to me it only felt like he had wiggled it a little. I didn't believe he had taken it out until he showed me the tooth with the giant hole in it. Ugh. I was numb the rest of the day and have felt no residual pain. Great dentist. Great staff. Very accommodating. Will be my family's dentist here on out. Will recommend to everyone I know.
Also great place to purchase sonicare brushes. I got the newest platinum care brush for less than I could find online.
