I was happy that the doctor‘s practice was open well before the first appointment. The staff was friendly and helpful. At the end of my appointment, they offered splitting the bill in two payments which can make paying medical expenses easier. Dr. Al Kharsa took the time to understand my medical history and patiently talked me through the different options to me. Overall, a very positive experience.

Dr. Al-Kharsa obtained his dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where he immersed himself in all fields of dentistry. Fascinated with facial proportion and symmetry, he continued on to specialize in orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. To provide the best and most up-to-date treatment for his patients, Dr. Al-Kharsa realizes that his profession takes a special dedication to life-long learning. He currently holds a part-time faculty position at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he enjoys sharing his knowledge with his students as well as staying on the cutting edge of all emerging techniques and technologies in his profession. Dr. Al-Kharsa employs multiple techniques and appliances to suit his patient’s needs from conventional metal braces to clear aligner treatment (Invisalign). To ensure the best possible outcome for his patients, Dr. Al-Kharsa makes sure to gain their cooperation and actively involves them during all phases of their treatment.
In his spare time, Dr. Al-Kharsa enjoys drawing, playing tennis, traveling and exploring the great city of Chicago.

Dr. Saleh Al Kharsa was a wonderful doctor but I ended up leaving DURING my appointment after it took them 3 hours to get nothing accomplished. After an hour of being in the operation room a dental assistant came in to ask what I wanted to get done that day and took X-rays. An hour later the Dentist came in to look at my braces and determine an action plan. After ANOTHER hour I was still waiting on the "paperwork" to get started and had to leave. When I went up to the front to reschedule (I thought I would give them another chance in case they were understaffed) the dental assistants became annoyed with me and I had to remind the person I was waiting on that she still hadn't given me the paperwork she had promised an hour ago (she had no idea what I was talking about). Another patient waiting in the waiting room also had to leave her appointment because it was taking so long as well.
