Dr. Samer Shaltoni, grew up in Darien IL and graduated Cum Laude from Benedictine University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. He then pursued dental training and completed his periodontics residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry where he served as chief resident and ambassador for the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation.
Currently, he holds memberships with the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), Illinois Society of Periodontology (ISOP), Midwest Society of Periodontology, American Academy of Osseointegration (AO), Chicago Dental Society (CDS), and the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
Dr Shaltoni provides interdisciplinary and comprehensive options for our patients that include excellent periodontal care/management, specialist in dental implants, bone and soft tissue augmentation (guided bone regeneration, sinus augmentation, connective tissue, and free gingival tissue grafts), surgical extractions, and pathology. In addition, Dr. Shaltoni has experience and training in IV Moderate Sedation to help with patients that may be nervous, anxious, or prefer to be sedated for procedures. Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) for increased tissue and wound healing, and complex full arch dental rehabilitation including all on four.
During his free time, Dr. Shaltoni enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, trying new restaurants, watching basketball, and is an avid car enthusiast.

I was terrified & nervous! But I was surprised by how genuine Dr. Shaltoni and his assistant were! Dr. Shaltoni takes his time to make sure you are. comfortable & understanding of the treatment he is recommending! Very Impressed!
