Dr. Sammar Razaq received her dental degree from Guy’s Dental School in London, England in 1993. She worked as an associate dentist in London, England for ten years before she came to the United States. She successfuly completed the advanced standing graduate program in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Dr Razaq worked as an associate dentist and has now started her own dental office in Dallas. She has published articles in the Texas Dental Journal and continues to enhance and enrich her dental knowledge and expertise by attending continuing education courses.
Dr. Razaq is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.
Dr. Razaq enjoys reading, gardening and travelling. Dr. Razaq is married to Sabeel, and they have two children Hannah and Kamran.

This review is for my visit with Dr. Razaq in September of 2014. Dr. Razaq performed a root canal and put a crown on my molar. After my root canal was performed, I was fitted for a temporary crown. That same day my temporary crown fell off! I was not chewing on that side of my mouth or doing anything to make this happen. I called the dentist and told them I did not want to go ahead with getting the permanent crown put on because I was concerned with the quality of the work. Dr. Razaq also cut the inside on my cheek while doing the root canal. The office insisted that this had nothing to do with the quality of the work and told me the crown was already ordered. They eventually convinced me to change my mind. After the root canal, my tooth ached for many months and chunks of food would get stuck in between my gum and crown. I was hoping that the pain would eventually go away but it did not. I went back to see Dr. Razaq in February 2015 because my tooth was still in pain! She told me that the root canal was done correctly and if it kept hurting I would need to see a root canal specialist. Fast forward to today. I no longer have pain but food still gets stuck and my gum is inflamed. I visited another dentist and now I need a new crown because there are gaps in both the front and back of the crown and my surrounding teeth. I saw the XRAY's as proof. While, Dr. Razaq was very nice, I wish I would have listened to my gut and not went through with getting my crown done at her practice and saved myself the pain and the money!

I had my first checkup with Dr. Razaq recently. I appreciated that she went over the images and x-rays of my mouth with me to let me know what she saw. I returned a couple weeks later for a filling and everything went smoothly. Both Dr. Razaq and her assistant were friendly and professional during both visits. I would highly recommend.

This was my 3rd appointment with Dr. Razaq and it was as pleasant as the previous 2 appointments. The girl at the front was very welcoming and I was back in the chair in only a few minutes. I have had the same assistant and she was very welcoming and always has a big smile which makes for an enjoyable atmosphere. Dr. Razaq did great work and really took her time answering all my questions about the work I had done that day, options in the future, and preventive measures I should take to reduce the need for dental work in the future. I do not have dental insurance and the pricing was not bad at all. I highly recommend Dr. Razaq and her team at Oral Health Solutions. Keep up the good work

I think Sammar Razaq is a great dentist she is so nice but the young lady at the front desk can be rude. I had a deep cleaning done on both sides everything has already been paid. I had a filling done on my left side 2 days ago but the other side hurt alot last night. I called to ask for some pain meds since i tried 6 advil and still had pain. I was made to feel as though i was lieing about the pain and i would need to set up an appointment before i could receive pain medicine. Why would i lie this is not the first thing she has done and i did not call about pain. Are you serious. WOW! and everything i was trying to tell her would fallow by a rude comment....

I was so impressed with Dr. Razaq and all the staff. They were very welcoming and informative. They were running a little behind and were so apologetic and accommodating. I really appreciated how Dr. Razaq sat down with me and explained exactly what the issues were and gave a me a specific treatment plan. Any other dentist I've been to sort of rushed me through the process and I never really understood the issue. Maria sat down with me and explained different options with my treatment plan, costs, what to expect, etc. This is by far the best dentist's office I've been to. They even offer a teacher discount!! I would recommend this office to anyone!

Dr sammar razaq and her staff are simply amazing. I had three wisdom teeth removed and deep cleaning/scaling, and she did a great job and so did her assistant. I had no pain. And she even took the time to call the next day to make sure I was doing okay! If you want a sincere dentist and someone that would care about your dental health Dr Sammar would do it.
