Dr. Lopez’s unique approach to dentistry and patient care began where he completed his studies, in Colombia where he practiced for 10 years. He is recognized by the Colombian Dental Colleges Association and the Latin American Dental Colleges Association for his ground-breaking thesis graduation project, earning him first place in Social Studies in the dental community. Dr. Lopez’s work served to improve approaches in patient care by implementing new methodologies and approaches to patient treatment.
Dr. Lopez’s understanding of practical patient needs and desires drive his patient-focused approach to dentistry. He actively listens, understands, and addresses each individual under his care, customizing his treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Dr. Lopez is comprehensively trained in the area of implant dentistry and he is a master of the latest concepts in bone and tissue regeneration, utilizing only the most advanced biomaterials and technologies. He is a member of the International Dental Implant Association, and an award-winning recipient for his educational achievements in implant dentistry. Dr. Lopez is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as, the American Dental Association.
Dr. Lopez recently completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry, again gaining recognition for his patient-centered philosophy of care. In his recreational time, enjoys traveling with his wife and children, relaxing on the beach, and playing soccer and racquetball.
