Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Sapan A. Parikh, attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and University of Medicine and Dentistry at New Jersey (UMDNJ). From an early age Dr. Parikh knew he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. It was during his senior year at Bridgewater-Raritan High School that his aspirations started to become a reality. He was accepted into the accelerated seven-year Dental Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University and University of Medicine and Dentistry at New Jersey. After just three years, Dr. Parikh graduated summa cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Dr. Parikh’s hard work and perseverance paid off when he was one of five students selected to treat patients in a Northfield dental office during his senior year at UMDNJ. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Parikh was offered a position by UMDNJ to work as an associate dentist in all three of their satellite offices. During this period, he had the opportunity to service the underserved community of South Jersey. That experience is what currently motivates Dr. Parikh to dedicate his time and expertise to community service events.
Dr. Parikh is currently enrolled in an Implant Surgical fellowship program at New York University College of Dentistry. Through this program, he will receive advanced training in the surgical placement and restorations of dental implants. Upon completion, Dr. Parikh will receive dual fellowships from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and International Congress of Implantologist.
Additionally, Dr. Parikh plays an active role in dental organizations. He serves as the Treasurer for the Indian Dental Association of North America. Dr. Parikh continues to stay busy as an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, Middlesex County Dental Society, Academy of Dental Education Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Good bedside manner and plenty of tv's to distract you during the wait and dental work.
It takes forever to get an appointment though, they must always be booked two months in advance. Once you do get there, the wait can be long.

As always, both Dr Parikh and Dr Rishi are excellent. I'm a coward with sensitive teeth, and these doctors are kind, courteous, professional, and informative. I would highly recommend to anyone.

This visit was much better than the the first. The first visit left a bad taste in my mouth - so to speak - regarding the fact that I hadn't fully been explained the payment method. I have great dental insurance and my previous dentist had always submitted the claim and then I would pay the remainder. Paying was no problem for me, but I think for some people who go in not expecting to pay on the spot, it could be a problem. Also the way it was handled was not very professional and it was a lot of whispering going on. In fact, I almost got up and left. As I said, the second visit was great - my daughter and her husband love the office and the practice.
