Dr. Sara Cassidy was raised in Spokane, Washington. As the daughter of a third generation dentist who was also the first female dentist in Spokane, Sara realized early on that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. She studied classical piano, danced ballet & skied for the Mt. Spokane ski team. Her schooling then took her to Santa Clara University where she earned a B.S. in Combined Sciences & spent her a year abroad studying in Italy.
Despite growing up among dentists, it wasn't until college that Dr. Sara decided her passion for medicine & art was a perfect fit for Orthodontics. She received her D.D.S from the University of Washington & subsequently completed a one year General Practice Residency through Swedish Hospital in Seattle. Dr. Cassidy returned to the University of Washington to complete a two and a half year residency specializing in Orthodontics & earning a Masters in Dentistry.
In her free time she loves to spend time with her family & chocolate lab, travel, run, ski, play the piano, dance, draw, & scuba dive.

The appointment took awhile (90 min.) but I think that is to be expected for an initial consultation. I was helped quickly, the staff was extremely friendly and clear, and the place is clean and comfortable. Multiple offers for water, tea, etc. and a voucher for a free coffee down the street when I left!

This was my first time in GLO and I can not be happier I made an appointment to come here. The offices are very nice and up to date in technology(which is important to me), and everyone I talked to there was beyond nice and welcoming. Might be one of the first times I have had a Dr. ask me what I wanted and didn't pressure me into something I didn't want. Excited to have found such a great place to start my ortho needs.

The support staff was extremely warm, friendly, and helpful. My daughter was seen in a timely manner. She was made comfortable during the dental photography. Dr. Cassidy was extremely knowledgeable and patient in answering all of my questions about different treatment options. She has an excellent patient rapport and seems to have a holistic perspective with designing the treatment plan. I appreciate her philosophy of waiting to see growth/development of my daughter's teeth and explaining the optimal timing of different procedures in accordance with child growth.
My only complaint is the 20-minute wait between being seen by the support staff and Dr. Cassidy's consultation and exam. But the overall experience with the staff and Dr. Cassidy outweighed this inconvenience. I would recommend Dr. Cassidy to others.

Dr. Cassidy is the best! She's smart, kind and on top of it. I interviewed four orthodontists before choosing Dr. Cassidy. My son loves her (and who loves their orthodontist?) The office staff are all friendly, helpful and fun. We are so happy with our choice!

I am so jealous of my own children--this was a much different experience than that of my own childhood orthodontia. Dr. Cassidy and her staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish--the office was stunningly beautiful, but the care my children received was even more impressive and, of course, deeply appreciated. I would recommend Dr. Cassidy to anyone and everyone!!

Always excellent! The entire staff is extremely competent, friendly, caring and go out of their way to accomodate patients needs. The office is modern and clean, very cool, hip design that adds to the great feel of the office. Dr. Sara Cassidy is wonderful!
