I am very fortunate to be Dr. D'Amico's patient. He is gentle, carefully explained all the issues I have with my teeth and found the best solution to keep my teeth healthy. His dental hygienist Amy was thorough, gentle and very knowledgeable. They both took their time and made me feel very comfortable.

I first went to Dr D'amico on an emergency basis, and I've had several visits with him now. I find him, and his entire staff, to be highly professional, helpful, and courteous. They also make you feel welcomed and valued as a patient. I have never had to wait more than five minutes in the waiting room, and his entire office is absolutely spotless! I would highly recommend his practice to any one seeking a competent DMD.

Dr. Sebastian D'Amico was raised in Jersey City, New Jersey. In 1985, he graduated with Honors, majoring in Biology, from Fairleigh Dickinson University. After completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1989, Dr. D'Amico was accepted into a hospital based General Practice Residency at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City. After successfully completing this advanced training program, Dr. D'Amico began his first solo practice in Hudson County. Dr D'Amico, his wife and two sons relocated to Monmouth County in the year 2000 where he has been practicing at Sunset Dental in the Wanamassa section of Ocean Township ever since.
Dr. D'Amico believes education, training and experience do make a difference as well as keeping up with the latest technologies available. He is dedicated to providing his patients with only the best care. Dr. D'Amico is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization of general dentists dedicated to continuing education. Dr. D'Amico has over six hundred hours of advanced continuing education in all phases of dentistry. Dr. D'Amico has advanced training in Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics and Dental Implants.
Dr. D'Amico believes in treating the patients as a person, getting to know and understand the individual's dental needs and desires, seeking to control disease first and then use conservative techniques and technologies to restore the mouth to form and function as it relates to the individual's total health. Dr. D'Amico truly cares about his patients and treats each one as if they were a member of his own family.
