I have been Dr. Sergey's patient since I moved to LA. The staff is very friendly. Alina in the front is very caring, extremely helpful and will do anything to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Sergey is very knowledgeable and talented doctor. I strongly recommend Alpha One Dental and Dr. Sergey!!!

The staff was not only welcoming but made me feel comfortable while I waited for my procedure. The doctor is a real professional, he answered all my questions and provided a great treatment experience.

Dr. Sergey Mahtesyan graduated from University Of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine. He received an award for excellence in Oral Surgery at the time of his graduation.
Dr. Mahtesyan is a general dentist, but his practice is focused on Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. He has taken numerous continuous education courses dedicated to dental implants and oral surgery. Most noteworthy is the All-on-4 training he received in Lisbon, Portugal, taught by the inventor of the All-on-4 or “Teeth in a Day” procedure, Paulo Malo. Since then, Dr Mahtesyan has treated hundreds of patients using Dr Paulo Malo’s All-on-4 protocol. He is one of the very few dentists performing the All-on-4 procedure singlehanded from start to finish, including both surgical and prosthetic portions of the procedure.
Dr. Mahtesyan also performs other procedures like wisdom teeth extractions, veneers, single and multiple implants, and implant supported overdentures.

Can’t say enough good things about Dr Mahtesian! He was great! Very nice and professional. Immediately and masterfully took care of my dental problem, attentive staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Most importantly, no one tried to pitch me unnecessary treatment.
