Dr, Khanna is an excellent dentist. She takes the time to explain treatments and procedures and answers all questions. She continually ensured during the treatment that I was kept informed of what was going on and also that my comfort level was being maintained. Dr. Khanna is very caring and friendly and made an less than pleasant situation much more bearable.

Dr. Khanna is originally from Orissa, India. She was born there, but her family came to the US when she was two years old and has been living here ever since. She has one younger brother who is pursuing engineering; her mother is a teacher and her father is an accountant. Dr. Khanna is the first dentist in her family and it has been a very rewarding field for her. She enjoys working with patients and caring for their oral health.
Dr. Khanna especially enjoys working with front teeth and the cosmetic aspects of dentistry. She has completed several continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Khanna finds it rewarding working on front teeth because patients can visualize the impact and advantages of good dentistry.
Dr. Khanna attended the University of Maryland at Baltimore Dental Surgery Program and graduated in 2010. She has been working in private practice since graduating and started at our practice in early 2011. “The staff here is very warm and caring, which makes it a wonderful place to work. Dr. Kanna has exceptional technical skills. Whenever I have a procedure done, I am relaxed (rather than my usual nervousness) knowing that I am in capable hands. Dr. Kanna takes the extra steps to ensure she causes no pain, including numbing my inner cheek before giving me a novocaine injection. She is also careful not to over-medicate me with novocaine. The numbness is targeted to the area to be worked on. In addition to her technical skills, she has an excellent and caring bedside manner.
