Dr. Stanley Dintcho graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA in 1970. Upon graduation, Dr. Dintcho answered the call to duty and served in the U.S. military as Captain in the U.S. Air force.
In 1972, he returned to civilian life and opened the doors to his dental practice where he continues to utilize state of the art technology and revolutionary treatment methods in dentistry.
Dr.Dintcho's unique style of quality packed consultative dentistry known as the Dintcho Method has created a very loyal clientele. Dr. Dintcho continues to pursue his greatest passion - dentistry.

Was kept waiting over 40 minutes past my appointment time. Dr. Dintcho did not wear basic personal protective equipment of a mask and gloves while cleaning my teeth. He did not remember basic information about my gum recession that I had told him 3 months ago. I think I need to find a new dentist.

I've been coming to Dr. Dintcho for years and I trust no one more than him when it comes to proper dental care. But he recently did something that blew me away. My Mom is 95 and unable to walk. She needed some emergency dental care. Dr. Dintcho WENT TO HER HOUSE to treat her. Who else would do something like that these days? Amazing.

Dr. D is a “rare” dentist who is compassionate towards his patients and their dental welfare.
You will never find a more considerate, kindhearted, and caring dentist than Dr. D.
Where can you find a dentist who publishes a 24/7 phone number and/or email address to contact when you have an emergency?
I have had 2 dental emergencies; both taking place during the weekend.
I was frantic having cracked a front tooth and Dr. D met me on a Sunday at 7 pm to take X-rays but more importantly he calmed me down from my frazzled state of mind.
Dr. D has been my dentist for 8+ years and I need to be more diligent with my dental care so that I stop calling him during emergencies.

During my appointment, Dr. Dintcho took great care to explain all the details of my care, change in habits, and the why behind certain recommendations/treatment. Dr. Dintcho is an excellent dentist who takes the time to instruct his patients in proper dental care at home. He strongly believes in preventative care and maintenance. Unlike many dentists, he insists on cleaning his patients' teeth himself. He never seems to be in a hurry and is willing to discuss things.
I have been going to Dr. Dintcho for my dental care for several years now and would highly recommend him to everyone.

Incredibly friendly, kind and wonderful office. The secretary, Suzanne, always very thoughtful and personable - she makes me feel like I’ve been going there forever even though it’s only been a few years. The assistant staff is quick and knowledgeable. And Dr. D is funny, humble and full of knowledge. He even gave me a bottle of wine as a thank you for referring my boyfriend! I am very confident to recommend Dr. D to new patients. Since a child, frequent trips to the dentist has been a norm. And through the years, met many dentists. Appreciate his wisdom, experience and very calming interaction but most important, competency. There are so many young brazen dentists thinking they know so much because of latest equipment in their office. Not impressed. Stop in and meet Dr. D.

Traveling in from New York on a vacation I ran into some extreme tooth pain. I was so glad the dentist was able to schedule an emergency appointment and diagnose me very quickly. He kept it real with me which us New Yorkers love. The whole staff made me feel like family as if I go in there everyday. The dentist himself called me after the visit to make sure I was doing everything he suggested was also much appreciated.

A good friend (with dentist sister) recommended Dr. D several years back and haven't looked for another dentist since. As a young child, I started frequenting dentist office that as an adult patient, (think) I know who is legit. Too often, young proprietary dentists try and lure patients in with a Groupon, only to be disappointment with redo elsewhere. It is very difficult to find a reliable and honest dentist in SF that I feel fortunate.
Recently I had an emergency situation (from prior assessment) over a Sunday! Called Dr. D by chance to see if he can recommend how to survive for couple days and without hesitation he told me to come in for an emergency treatment. All taken care of!
Dr. D is seasoned and established so he doesn't pressure you for more service or feel rushed because he takes meticulous care for individual patients. How many medical professionals take a moment out of the day to call and check up? Okay, maybe assistants will but not the doctor. Additionally, I appreciate the office location/environment because it is inside neighborhood retail space on Union Street, unlike clinical multi-storied medical building with florescent lighting. Nice patio and partial view of GG, San Fran style keep it calm.

Dr. D is awesome. He is a competent professional dentist and someone you can trust to take of your dental needs. I have been going to him for 20 years and he is always upgrading to stay with the latest technology in dentistry to insure his patients get the best care possible. He might not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I trust his skills which is a hard thing to come by when choosing a dentist.

Stanley is always incredibly talented, helpful and professional and the best dentist I've ever gone to. His staff are equally as kind, professional and helpful. I had an emergency wisdom tooth issue and I have never had more confidence in a dentist's ability. Stanley Also made my health and recovery his immediate priority, it felt incredibly reassuring... I can not recommend him enough!

The dentist was great no issues at all, but the receptionist that was there. Good god, who put her in charge? She has zero, I mean ZERO interpersonal skills, she was SO rude to me during my FIRST visit and on the phone and after my appointment.
Definitely never going there again because of her, but.. the dentist was great.

The best dentist in the west. If you want to look like a million bucks visit Dr. Stanley Dintcho. The fact that all his patients have 24 hr access to him, last week I was in at 1 am with a dental emergency and he was able to fix my tooth. No one else would ever do that for you. Dr. Dintcho did it with a smile!
