Dr. Nelson has been practicing for over 15 years. He graduated with high honors and received many academic awards from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry. Dr. Nelson then completed an extensive three year orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University Center for Advance Dental Education where he received a Masters in Orthodontics.
Dr. Nelson has participated in many research projects and studies and is a board eligible member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, and Florida Association of Orthodontists.
He is very involved in keeping up with many of the advancements in the orthodontic industry. Dr. Nelson has received several professional awards and recognition for his contributions to the industry.
Dr. Nelson also participates in many community oriented outreach programs. Through his involvement in Operation Blessing and Haitian mission trips he has been able to realize the value and importance of giving back to his and other local communities.
On a personal note, Dr. Nelson love spending as much time as possible with his family and his two young children. Most of his personal time is spent saltwater fishing, playing golf or cheering for his Gators. He loves seeing pictures of nice fishing catches.
