We provide a wide range of services including orthodontic care, implant placement and restoration, periodontal services by our Board Certified Periodontist, and advanced Prosthodontic services by our Board Certified Prosthodontist. Of course, we provide routine dental care as well.
Dr. Muecke joined the U.S. Air Force after graduation from Emory and served as a dentist for three years during which time he worked with specialists in orthodontics and oral surgery. He was the last Chief of Dental Services at South Ruislip Air Station, England.
He returned to the United States after serving three years in Europe and opened his own practice in Sandy Springs, practicing general dentistry emphasizing comprehensive care.
In 1999 he began a relationship with the Georgia Tech Research Institute which involved the use of a patent that he and his business partner David Leever, DDS own and in which Tech subsequently acquired some ownership. This involves an analysis of CT data producing a proprietary formula for an individual patient allowing complex cases to be treated simply.
A separate dental research division was created within GTRI – DenTech – as a result of this work. Dr. Muecke was the first general practitioner to have a CT scanner in the United States. This is in keeping with his commitment to incorporate the best advances in patient care in his practice.
Dr. Muecke has made presentations in Europe for the Dean of the Royal College of Surgeons in London, and in France at a symposium on facial asymmetry in Biarritz, France. He continues to have a broad general practice which provides c
