Hi, my name is Dr. Steve Huntsman (known as Dr. H), and I want to personally welcome you to our practice family. At Plaza Dental, we are passionate about helping others find their new smile, be pain-free and increase their quality of life. I love my profession and it would be an honor to have you be part of our practice family. With more than 20 years of experience, I understand the importance of patient care.
In my educational pursuits, I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Texas, where I graduated with honors. Post-graduation, I served our country in the U.S. Army, where I attained valuable experience caring for patients overseas in Germany. I have attained over 1,000 hours of post-graduate education in dentistry, orthodontics and sleep medicine. I have treated and completed over 4,000 orthodontic cases. I have also been an educator in dentistry, where I lectured and mentored other dentists throughout the country on orthodontics and sleep medicine. Recently, I was awarded and recognized as one of the “TOP DENTISTS IN AMERICA.” In 2016, I received my Fellow in the International Association for Orthodontics.
In my “free time”, I enjoy the outdoors, including golfing, fishing and hiking. My wife, Karen, and our five children, all love the outdoors as well, and we all participate in both winter and summer sports.
At Plaza Dental, I am extremely excited to provide comprehensive dental care to you and your family. My passion is your health and I believe strongly in the “golden rule.” You will be more than a patient; you will be a part of our dental family!
