Doctor Steven Gilson DMD. I am a 1983 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. I studied at Penn as an undergraduate and received a BS in Physical Chemistry and Biochemistry, graduating cum lade. I matriculated into the school of Dental Medicine after three years of undergraduate study. In addition to my Dental degree, I spent an additional year in a general practice residency.
Specialty Dental Training
In my residency I received specialty training in the fields of periodontics (gums), prosthetics (crowns and bridges) and endodontics (root canal). It has been my guiding principle to take this multi disciplinary approach into my practice of general dentistry. Therefore, I am able to offer my patients many services and procedures that would otherwise be referred to a specialist, and provide them in my office. The understanding of the interrelationships of periodontal treatment combined with prosthetic treatment to repair and replace lost teeth is a key concept to help my patients retain healthy teeth and gums for a life time.

I am constantly taking continuing education to upgrade my skills and knowledge to bring our patients the latest in dental technology. Our office officers a variety of services including Invisalign (invisible braces), ZOOM bleaching, non surgical periodontal treatment, implant restorations, all porcelain crown restorations, one visit root canal, and digital radiography. Additionally, I also offer to my patients a variety of cosmetic services for a complete smile make over. Personalized Care
