Did not find out until scheduling that fees are due upon scheduling. Maybe an oversight on my part. The service was excellent. Dr. Thlick gave a thorough understanding of problems along with options of treatment plans. Recommended her to my boss at work when I returned.

Dr. Su-En Thlick earned her Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) in 1997 from Tufts University, one of the top dental schools in the nation. Her dental training was enhanced by an externship program with the United States Coast Guard.
Following graduation, Dr. Thlick worked as an associate in a busy dental practice emphasizing prosthetic reconstruction such as crowns, bridges and implants; as well as aesthetic dentisty such as teeth whitening and veneers.
Dr. Thlick is a firm believer in preventative care and emphasizes regular meticulous dental cleanings and cavity control. Dr. Thlick has been in private practice since 1997 and maintains and enhances her knowledge of dental care based on new developments through continuing education.

This dentist knew I had financial issues and could only afford treatments covered by insurance and yet when I had a bad tooth she and her staff recommended an experimental treatment. I made it clear I could only do this treatment if it was covered. They assured me it was. After I got the treatment, that didn't work btw, they informed me it would out of pocket. I will never go back here. I will never recommend this dentist or her office.

I made an appointment for a tooth extraction and I got an X-ray and a plan to get my teeth heathy. I received a referral for my tooth extraction but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep my next appointment with them it was a huge turnoff to conduct all the X-rays knowing you couldn't do what I made the appointment for.

She is very busy and the front desk needs more help. They only have one person and she is very busy. The Dr. did her job throughly and made sure to find a solution to my problem. The issue was that because she was seeing about 3 patients including myself, she didn't have time to finish her work on me. So I have to come back another time and have her finish.

Couple of things... Zocdoc asked me for all of the medical info for easy check in, but the dentist office doesn't get it, so I had to fill out all the info again.
When I got there, there was no one at the front desk for about 15 min. When she finally came up front, the receptionist said that I didn't have an appt. She checked again and said that my appt was tomorrow 26 Sep. I told her that today WAS 26 Sep! I waited a few more min and asked if I was going to be seen and she said yes of course. So it was a little bit of a mishap, but it worked out.
The hygienist was awesome! She scolded me for not brushing twice a day and not glossing everyday, but it was done very nicely :) I really liked her. When the dr came in, it was literally for 20 seconds. This was my first visit, so I wish she would have talked to me for a bit longer, but for the few seconds that I did see her, she was very nice. She asked me if I had any issues, and I did say no, so she left :)

I have been going to Dr. Thlick since I was a little girl and shes just as Awesome!!! as before. I have had bad experiences with other dentist office's in the Woodbridge area and it was a breathe of fresh air not to get this at Dr. Thlick's. The front desk was very helpful going above and beyond to find out what would be covered for my future visits- so I could schedule it around my budget. I have recommended everyone I know to Parkway Smiles and look forward to my future visits.
