Love her. She was able to diagnose a persistent problem that I was previously unable to get an answer for and she was able to fix a front tooth of mine that was misshapen and didn't match my filling perfectly. It looks like a solid tooth again. Very pleased. ??

Dr. Chapla attended Boston University, graduating cum Laude with a degree in History and a minor in Biology. She completed her dental training at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, graduating cum Laude with her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Chapla completed her General Practice Residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital, NJ, an affiliate of Mt. Sinai Hospital, NYC.
Dr. Chapla performed dentistry in a hospital setting and gained advanced training in fixed and removable prosthodontics, dental implants, oral medicine, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Chapla is committed to furthering her knowledge of dentistry and has taken continuing education courses at Rosenthal Institute Aesthetic Advantage at New York University, completed the Sirona CEREC® Course, as well as certification in Invisalign®. She will soon train in Trudenta™ pain relief.
Dr. Chapla is personally interested in aesthetic dentistry and aims to provide dentistry that is both functional and aesthetic. By completing various continuing education courses, it is her goal to become an exceptional dentist and provide the best possible care for her patients.
Dr. Chapla is a native of Titusville, FL and currently resides in the Baltimore area with her husband. In her free time, Dr. Chapla enjoys painting, running, reading, spending time with her husband, cooking various cuisines, and sampling different chocolates. She also volunteers in community dental screenings where she donates her dental skills to those in need.

I have always been scrared to go to the dentist, and its people like this dentist who judge you and look down on you, and then give you a lectures, make it really hard for people like me to go see a in the first place. I will never, no matter how much pain I am in, go see this dentist again. I need someone in Healthcare feild who is compassionate and understanding, and this lady is definitely not that.

I had a great appointment. Personally, I am terrified of the dentist but Tanya at the front greeted me with smiles. The other two assistants were so friendly. Dr. Chapla was great, no pain. I walked out with nice, clean teeth. Also, I agree with the other reviewers--- she has tiny hands!!!! Highly recommend the office.

I am very happy with this dentist selection. Dr. Chapla made me feel totally comfortable, even though I have an extremely high level of anxiety about dentistry. She calmly explains everything she's doing and needs to do so you know what to expect and it's easily the best dental work I've ever had done. Her colleagues are equally helpful while you're in the chair and are all very pleasant and knowledgeable.

She was very personable, warm, and smiled. Even though I showed up late for my appointment and I was the last appointment of the night and I kept her late at work, she didn't rush things and took a lot of time to answer my questions. When she gave me advice I didn't get the feeling that I was being talked down to. She made great conversation and was concerned about my physical comfort. And, the most rare trait of all in physicians, she actually listened to my entire question before answering me. The run-down appearance of the office and waiting room doesn't give you the impression that you're going to get 5 star treatment, but you really do. This was actually probably the best experience with a healthcare professional I've ever had. Highly recommended.
