I was running a little late to my appointment (Seattle traffic at its finest) and the receptionist was very understanding and let me know the best place to park for the office. Once I arrived I was taken back for my appointment and had excellent care. I felt like I was really listened to and the different procedures were clearly explained to me without any pressure on what to choose.

The staff was super friendly. I have pretty bad dental anxiety, so my dentist was very mindful of describing everything that she was doing and she frequently checked in to make sure that I was ok. I don't know if the staff is all-female, but only women were there during my appointment, and I believe that this helps create a welcoming environment.

My goal each day is to make dentistry comfortable, pain-free, and even enjoyable. I strive to provide each patient with personalized treatment that improves not only their oral health, but their overall health as well. I believe good communication is paramount to successful treatment, and I enjoy meeting and getting to know each of my patients. A visit to the dentist is a personal experience, and it’s important for patients to feel comfortable. I have succeeded when patients leave my office smiling more confidently and chewing painlessly.
I completed my dental training at Creighton University School of Dentistry where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
The field of dentistry is perpetually changing with many new and exciting developments each year. It is important to me to keep up with the latest research in order to provide my patients with the highest standard of dental care. I regularly attend continuing education classes provided by the University of Washington. In addition, I am a member of many study clubs and professional organizations. The study club setting is especially useful because it allows generalists and specialists to share knowledge, experience, and ideas through case studies and subsequent discussions.
I grew up in a small mountain town in western Montana where I developed a love for the outdoors. Following dental school, my husband and I decided to move to Seattle largely due to its proximity to all the activities we enjoy. Along with our dog Bobby, we hike, camp, bike, ski, and snowboard as much as possible.

I had the feeling that she didn't have time for me since she proposed I went to see a root canal specialist and after that to come back and discuss a treatment plan. I felt that I was pushed a deep cleaning treatment when in fact I had other treatment priorities.

This was my first trip to the dentist in a few years and although I was very nervous, everyone was so kind and patient. I especially liked that instead of a lecture about the need to floss everyday, I was given a suggestion to start flossing three days a week and work my way up from there until I've created a habit. I was very impressed with the level of service and the thoroughness of the exam. The entire staff from the front desk to the dentist, dental assistant, and hygienist was professional and extremely friendly. Hands down one of the best dental experience I have had (and I have had a lot in my 36 years).

I was recommended a deep dental cleaning to repair gum damage on my first appointment here and told that I had 10 cavities that needed to be filled. The total package would take 5 visits to complete and cost way more than I could afford.
I decided to get a second opinion and was told that my teeth are in good shape with standard fare gingivitis that can be reversed with good flossing habits and one 1 cavity that needs to be filled.
The staff at Dr. Sullivan's office was very nice and professional but they are definitely upselling services to pay for their swank office.

The entire staff was incredibly friendly and nice. I went in for an exam and a cleaning, and they talked me through every step of the process. Tara was very sweet and addressed any concerns I had about my teeth. She even recommended specific toothbrushes that would help. The dental assistant and dental hygenist really put me at ease by making conversation throughout the whole visit. It took 1.5 hours from walking in the door to checking out, but it barely felt that long.

I arrived early, and was greeted promptly by her receptionist, who also helped me with any questions that I had. Her assistant was friendly, and efficient, and she herself was friendly, and talked me through the whole procedure. It was the best experience that I've had at a dentist yet!
