Dr. Thai Vinh Nguyen obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Washington, a very highly ranked dental school in the nation. He has been practicing dentistry in the Northwest since 1999. He is a General Dentist and practices ALL aspects of dentistry. He has a special keen interest in dentofacial orthopedics and orthodontics, and TMJ. He has accumulated over 1500 hours of CE credits which focus on orthodontics, orthopedics, TMJ, Sleep Apnea, etc. His orthodontic treatment goals are not only straight teeth, but also better facial profile, muscle harmony, and healthy TMJ. Dr. Nguyen strongly believes that many of cases could be accomplished with early intervention and non-extraction treatment. His other interests include Sleep disorders and implants.
He holds the Diplomate of Board of International Orthodontics, (IBO), a Fellowship at the International Association for Orthodontics (IAO) and is an IAO Certified Senior Instructor. He also is a founding member of the Northwest Comprehensive Orthodontics/TMD Seminars Group. His Orthodontic/TMD seminars group is an AGD nationally approved continuing education organization for dentists. For the last four years, he has taught Orthodontic and TMD treatment to dentists in many cities.
Dr. Thai Nguyen was trained with many world-renowned implantologists associated with the Implant Maxicourse ® at the University of Oregon School of Dentistry. He also holds an Associate Fellowship at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a member of American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry.
