Dr. Stern was a great guy and even better dentist. My bonding on my tooth was chipped and with me getting married in two weeks he got me in as soon as possible and did a phenomenal job. He was very accommodating. I will be using him as my primary dentist from here on out. Highly recommend.

I’ve avoided dentists my entire life, but Dr.Stern has definitely made me so comfortable, I don’t dread going any more. He’s kind, friendly and walks me through every step with a very detailed explanation of the procedure. I couldn’t ask for a better dentist ! I’m happy to have found him and only wish I had found him sooner.

Dr. Stern is originally from Portland, Oregon. He graduated from Oregon Health Sciences Center with the degree DMD in 1980. Soon after, he moved to Philadelphia, where he has been practicing since. As an undergraduate, he studied Sociology and graduated with a BS in Sociology from Portland State University.
Our motto is that no patient is allowed to leave our office dissatisfied. Time is valuable! We respect and value every patient's time. All possible measures are taken to not make patients wait for their appointments. We take every measure possible to create a comfortable and inviting environment for every patient. We strive for perfection with every patient interaction, from the most routine procedure to a complete dental make-over.

The doctor is good, but there's a lack of communication between office staff. Just because the nurse was unable to relay my treatment history to the doctor (which I clearly discussed with her in detail), I was charged an inconvenient amount for a duplicate xray that could've clearly been avoided. So make sure you discuss the charges beforehand if you want to avoid surprise charges.

Dr. Stern is definitely the best dentist I've ever been to. I'm 69, so that's saying a lot. He is extemely knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. He has a new way of giving injections that is 100% pain free. He has a wonderful chair-side manner, where he listens carefully, and explains everything. His voice is calm and reassuring. I highly recommend Dr. Stern.

Highly knowledgeable staff from receptionist to dental assistant to doctor / dentist himself. Explained everything to me fully and concisely. I feel absolutely comfortable to know I am in good hands. Highly recommend! Trustworthy, reliable. Hands down best first-time visit at any dental office.

Dr. Stern was wonderful, quick, effective and kind. My dental hygenist, Tina, did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable. She let me know what she was doing at every step of the way, and was very gentle. I very much enjoyed my visit! You don't say that about the Dentist every day.

He’s very thorough with his work, making sure you understand everything he’s doing. I have avoided going to the dentist for years, but am very excited I found his practice. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for dental work!
