After realizing that dentistry combines her love of science and the arts while helping people stay healthy and orally disease free, she went on to earn her DDS degree from the prestigious University of Oklahoma Health Science Center.
Dr. Maldonado enjoys getting to know her patients the most. She believes as a dental professional, “You’re not only treating the mouth, you are also treating people.” Dr. Maldonado looks forward to working with her local community while getting to know the unique culture Alaskans have.
Additionally, she is married to her husband who is a JAG officer for the US Air Force. They share two daughters, ages 4 and 12. While not in the office, her two daughters keep her very busy with competitive figure skating and dance. She also enjoys gardening, travel and home renovation projects.
