Dr. Tim Hansen is proud to serve patients in Idaho through his practice, Austin Creek Dental, which he founded shortly after graduating from Creighton University in 1999. He returned to his home state and began his practice in 2000, where he continues to help patients of all ages.
Dr. Hansen is actively involved in professional organizations including the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS), and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He is committed to staying current with advances in dentistry, investing many hours each year in continuing education across all areas, from preventive care to advanced restorative and cosmetic procedures.
He is also a graduate of the prestigious Kois Center, a rigorous advanced-education program led by Dr. John Kois. This training enables him to assess each patient’s unique risk factors—such as decay, gum disease, bite issues—and develop customized, predictable treatment plans that go beyond simply treating visible problems. His approach emphasizes prevention, function, and aesthetics in harmony.
Dr. Hansen’s greatest reward is helping patients feel confident and comfortable, whether they come in for routine care or face more complex dental challenges. He takes pride in offering honest, compassionate care and strives to make every patient feel like part of the Austin Creek Dental family.
