Dr. Vaishnavi Iyer DDS, graduated from Sri Ramachandra Dental College, Chennai, India. She moved to United States in 2002. She later did her MPH from Loma Linda University in California in 2006. Subsequently in 2008, she earned a Master’s Degree in DPH (Dental Public Health which specializes in prevention and treatment of conditions before it occurs) from Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas. Since graduation she has worked as a Dentist in Dallas Metropolitan area. Dr. Iyer has vast experience in General Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry and Fast Braces and is also a certified Nitrous Oxide sedation provider. Her specialties include extractions, root canal treatments, crowns and Braces.
It has been a dream comes true for Dr. Iyer to own her own practice. Her motto is to run a clinic in a way that "would make everyone feel at home", especially the pediatric patients also including the patients’, staff, and Dentist. For her, there is nothing happier than to make people smile after each and every visit. "They (patients) should feel like they have spent their money well coming to my clinic."
In her spare time, She enjoys spending time with her two wonderful sons and her family including, Todd, her pet dog. She enjoys reading, listening to music, watching her favorite shows (ER, Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy, House etc) on Television, cooking and cleaning. Dr.Iyer has also been actively participating in community service programs to promote awareness on dental health.
