As always an excellent experience. Been going here for a year now and Dr. Reed is by far the best dentist I have ever had. He is very thorough, takes the time to explain anything and everything about his procedures, as well as radiating an overall sense of genuine caring interest for each of his patients. This sincerity is ubiquitous throughout the entire staff at A Dental & Denture and I would recommended them to anyone.

Dr. Vance Reed has been practicing dentistry for over 29-years in the Seattle area. After graduating from Loyola University School Of Dentistry – Chicago College of Dental Surgery with clinical honors in 1982, he headed west and fell in love with the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
He obtained a Certificate of Completion in Dental Education for the Care of the Disabled (DECOD) at the University of Washington, with special emphasis on care of the aged, mentally and physically disabled, hospital-bound, developmentally disabled, and mobile and hospital based dentistry. This experience uniquely prepared him to effectively guide patients with heightened anxiety through the dental process.
As Dr. Reed says, “Dental care involves a level of closeness that creates tremendous anxiety and fear for most patients. My staff and I work to establish the most relaxing environment possible so each patient is at ease through any dental procedure. We don’t take lightly the trust a patient places in us the moment they enter our office.”
To help pay his way through college and dental school, Dr. Reed utilized his passion for music and technology. A little known fact is his involvement in the creation and management of the successful, and rare surviving music store in the Seattle area, “Silver Platters.”
There came a point when Dr. Reed had to make a choice between his career in the music business or make the most of his years of dental training. The rest, as they say, is history.
