A California native, she earned both her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science in Orthodontics from Loma Linda University, where she was a Dean’s List honoree and recipient of multiple academic awards. After relocating to Colorado, Dr. Kaplan purchased her first practice in 2011, rebranding it as Rangewood Orthodontics in 2014. Under her leadership, the practice grew to nine locations along Colorado’s Front Range, earning numerous accolades including Best of the Springs, 5280 Top Orthodontist, and Indy Top Orthodontist. Known for her commitment to innovation, she spearheaded initiatives in digital marketing, staff development, clinical technology, and community outreach—including partnerships with Kids in Need of Dentistry. Since selling Rangewood Orthodontics to private equity in 2021, Dr. Kaplan has served as an associate orthodontist with Specialty Dental Brands, where she manages a high-volume patient base and provides comprehensive treatment using a wide array of techniques and appliances, including Damon, Pitts, Invisalign, Spark, MARPE, and growth modification systems. With current dental licenses in both California and Colorado, Dr. Kaplan is now seeking a new opportunity in her home state of California to be closer to her family while continuing to provide quality, compassionate care. Outside of the office, Dr. Kaplan and her husband Chad enjoy an active family life with their five children—Carter, Jenna, Cohen, Caden, and Christian. Together, they love to travel, scuba dive, and cheer on their kids in sports like swimming, soccer, gymnastics, and snowboarding.
