Dr. Vincent Claps has been treating patients on the East End of Long Island for over 20 years; he takes the time to explain what treatments and options are available and how they can best fulfill the particular needs of each and every patient. There is no "one size fits all" in the realm of dentistry.
Cosmetics, comfort and budgetary considerations are all given equal weight in order to provide the best possible treatment at the most affordable cost. Patients are encouraged to take an active part in their treatment- a vital ingredient for a successful outcome.
Dr. Claps is a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry; he is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Society of Dental Aesthetics. He is also a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is currently pursuing the latest innovations in restorative dentistry, including non-metallic all ceramic crowns and non-mercury biomimetic composite fillings which duplicate the chemical structure of natural teeth. These materials make the underlying teeth stronger, more lifelike and contribute far less toxins to the body as a whole.
Dr. Claps participates in many insurance plans and his office staff has extensive knowledge in the various types of coverage available; they will be more than happy to discuss your particular plan with you.
