The time for personal interaction with his patients is valued and he enjoys getting to know patients as individuals, hearing stories about their families and lives, as well as sharing anecdotes of his own. As a practicing dentist for over 37 years, Dr. Peterson is known for his professional dental care with a reassuring, human touch.
Dr. Peterson believes in giving back to the community and actively donates both his time and funding to various local organizations. Dr. Peterson actively supports our local hockey rink, The Palouse Ice Rink, and annually donates custom protective mouth guards to children and adults alike.
Dr. Peterson is passionate about pursuing continuing education offerings. He knows that the best way to provide his patients with proven, painless dental care is to keep up-to-date with the latest procedures, techniques, and services. He has studied cosmetic dentistry at the Spear Institute, and has attended many conferences with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Peterson is a native of Spokane, WA and has made his home in the Palouse Region for nearly 40 years. He has one son, Sean, who played Junior Hockey with the Eugene Generals in Oregon. When not providing dental care, Dr. Peterson loves working in his garden growing dahlias and orchids. He also enjoys being on and in the water, pursuing whitewater kayaking and snorkeling at every opportunity. Dr. Peterson also enjoys traveling, especially to attend seminars and continuing education opportunities.
